RASHIDA MODERATES IDEA FACTORY AFRICA SUMMIT

Idea factory Africa (IFA), a Global/African platform aimed at bridging the gap between Africa’s industry leaders and young African innovators and thinkers has been held in Accra. The ultimate goal of the conference is to shift the focus from idea generation to idea execution. The conference is committed towards providing an opportunity to the youth to exchange ideas with industry players on entrepreneurial skills development. It was hosted by one of Ghana’s most promising young female leaders, Rashida Saani Nasamu.

 

Rashida’s inclusion to the summit was not by chance even though she has moderated mainly international events in related areas, which included the popular and high profile annual Africa CEO’s forum. She remains an inspiration to many young people in and outside Ghana. In her opening remarks, Rashida noted that Africa has shown promising leads towards achieving its socio-economic and political prospects.

 

She said the youth constitute majority of the human resource potential of any country in the world that can contribute to its development hence, they have a critical role in sustaining these successes and even improve them.

 

Initially a trained journalist from the Ghana institute of journalism, Rashida holds several professional and academic certificates from institutions and universities in and outside Ghana. She is currently the Chief executive of IZAR Group, a company with affiliates in consultancy, construction, entrepreneurship, social interventions and skills development. She has serviced many organizations in Ghana by the development of practical projects that have supported business goals for growth.

 

Rashida believes in value addition for young people for multiple stream of income generation. This therefore necessitated her mission to diversify her business that includes the construction of luxury homes for sale and rental today.
