BOYA INITIATIVE ORGANIZES 3RD “I SERVED” CHARITY EVENT

 “I SERVED” is an annual charity event designed to create a unique opportunity for a select needy and underprivileged children to interact with corporate executives, business leaders and politicians. As part of our unending efforts at touching the lives of the less privileged in society, BOYA INITIATIVE (a member of I-ZAR GROUP) instituted the annual “I SERVED” charity event. Now in its third year, the event is designed to bring the smiles back on the faces of the children. It is also an opportunity to raise funds for a project that would benefit them. Benefactors of “I SERVED” wear aprons and serve breakfast to the selected children, while interacting with them. Last year’s event took place at the Best Western Premier Hotel, Accra on 23rd December, under the distinguished chairmanship of Dr Raymond Atuguba, former Executive Secretary to the President of the Republic of Ghana. Other personalities present were Sir Sam Jonah and Mr Kwame Pianim, Guest Speaker and Guest of Honour, respectively. Proceeds from the event were earmarked for the construction of a wall and the provision of other amenities for the Nyohini Orphanage in Tamale in the Northern region of Ghana. Fifty children in Tuggu were offered a year’s scholarship to pursue various courses. The event was hugely supported by several corporate entities, media partners and private individuals.
